Stained Glass Design, Fabrication, Restoration & Preservation - Kansas City - Johnson County Stained Glass- Estb 1982

Millwork is restored, sealed and painted three coats. All stained glass panels were removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. Formerly operational vent panels (seen here in two center lancets) were converted to fixed panels and new aluminum division bars installed. Steel vents at bottoms of all four lancets were also converted to closed, fixed panels.

Millwork is deteriorated, including rotted and missing pieces. Stained glass lead is corroded, some broken glass and mismatched glass from previous in place repairs. The steel vents seen in the two center lancets are very drafty .
